I grew up in Vestal, a small suburban town in
upstate New York. Vestal was best known for its spiedies, hot air balloons, and
winning high school football teams. It just so happened that, for my 4
years of high school, we had one of the worst teams around. Anyways, I
attended The Susquehanna School
and then graduated from Vestal High School in the spring of 1996.
I subsequently attended Brown University, where I took
a variety of exciting courses. I graduated from Brown
in December, 2000 with a Sc.B. in Math-Computer Science (with honors) and
a Sc.M. in Computer Science.
Back when I had free time, I developed some interests.
These include soccer and tennis, which I played on varsity in high school,
and computers, which I've played with since the XTs and ATs came out. At
Brown, I was a sunlab
consultant, a computer
science TA, and an intramural
champion (in 4 different sports). Here's some of what takes up my time
and interests me now:
Feel free to drop me a line anytime.
And although my name is pretty uncommon, these people are not me:
