I grew up in Vestal, a small suburban town in upstate New York. Vestal was best known for its spiedies, hot air balloons, and winning high school football teams. It just so happened that, for my 4 years of high school, we had one of the worst teams around. Anyways, I attended The Susquehanna School and then graduated from Vestal High School in the spring of 1996. I subsequently attended Brown University, where I took a variety of exciting courses. I graduated from Brown in December, 2000 with a Sc.B. in Math-Computer Science (with honors) and a Sc.M. in Computer Science.

Back when I had free time, I developed some interests. These include soccer and tennis, which I played on varsity in high school, and computers, which I've played with since the XTs and ATs came out. At Brown, I was a sunlab consultant, a computer science TA, and an intramural champion (in 4 different sports). Here's some of what takes up my time and interests me now:
